Absolutely wonderful stay. Teresa was there for anything we needed and was an amazing host. Our room was actually two rooms, with a full kitchen and bath, so basically an apartment! We had two women and two children and there was more than enough room to spread out and relax. The Inn is close to Missouri Star Quilt Shops (in fact we walked downtown one day) and is also within a half mile of a Mexican restaurant and Casey's pizza. Wifi worked perfectly. We will definitely be back!
This is the second year in a row that we've stayed at the Morning Star Cottage and we definitely are coming back again! My mom, my aunts and I just love this location and the coziness and space to sew! I was also glad that I was able to walk to the stores whenever I wanted without having to wait for a ride. Teresa was beyond helpful and if we ever had a question or suggestion we could count on her to come through and help us out. All around 5 stars!!!
Very pleasantly surprised! The owner Teresa met us at the Inn . It was so fun to meet Teresa and benefit from her local knowledge like restaurants etc. What a super lady! The room was very clean and well furnished. We were so glad there were comfortable chairs in the room so we did not have to sit in wooden chairs or lay in bed to relax. Very close to downtown, so we were able to shop-rest-shop some more. Highly recommend this hotel.
Nice little place to stay in Hamilton. Just a few blocks from downtown. Teresa was extremely warm and friendly. The room was larger and much more comfortable than an average hotel! Full kitchen, I would absolutely recommend staying here for your visit to Missouri Star Quilt.
A dear friend and I spent three great days with Missouri Star, three other area quilt shops, and The Elms in Excelsior Springs, coming back to Therese’s Morningstar Inn at the end of each day. We couldn’t have asked for better, more comfortable accommodations! I highly recommend booking your stay in Hamilton at Morningstar.
Super clean - great amenities - PERFECT location if you are going to downtown Hamilton for Missouri Star. Easy to find. Have never been to an AirBNB that was so well maintained in such a small town. We will definitely try to return and definitely refer.
MorningStar Inn in Hamilton Missouri is an adorable place to spend the night in the quilting capital of America! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and newly updated! It's in walking distance of the shopping area and restaurants in town! Everyone is so nice and accommodating! I loved my stay and plan to return soon! Highly recommended
